Fading Light

A simple arcade-ish procedurally generated top down shooter. Meant to pass a few minutes and drop it afterwards (for now at least).

This game is certainly not polished (limited graphics, only background audio) but the core mechanics are implemented and is quite fun.

Controls:

Walk - A/W/S/D

Shoot - J/K/I/L or UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT keys or Left mouse button

Some details about the game:

The souls you collect are both your power and your lives. The more souls you collected, the brighter you shine and the stronger you are.

Enemies and souls appear when generating new cells and over time in currently loaded ones. Enemies collect souls (as well as each other) to become stronger. You can see how strong an enemy is by its size - once its big enough, it can eat the obstacles in between you and it.

The game occasionally saves your data (position, points and world seed) and should you exit the game, it will reload your data from the last match (on death, your save is deleted).
